American Cravings
Apr. 16th, 2006 11:31 amAmerican Cravings
Since we got our ice cream maker, I am proud to say that I haven't had big cravings for American ice cream, because the stuff we are making is sooo wonderful. And because we make so little of it, there's almost no way to overeat-- we ration everybody in the family a few spoonfuls, and it's gone. We've made strawberry and banana so far, and they've come out really nicely. I will post recipes and how-tos as soon as we're done with this weekend's intense DIY and I have a little more time to write.
Conversations with my sister, who's visiting in May, and a friend who may be visiting sometime around then as well have reminded me that I have not posted the list of general stuff I always want from the US, if you're going over there and going to be coming back to London. These are things that are not expensive, mostly can be found in any grocery store or drugstore, and are small enough to be stuffed into your carry-on as a last minute thought.
