Heirloom Knitting Merino Lace
This arrived today. The five (well three single ones and a fourth double) emerald green ones will become a dragon shawl, and I'm not sure about the red. I mostly bought it because it is RED.
It's still in the stash box. There wasn't enough of it to make this shawl, and I've only just started to really explore lace knitting. Sage green is one of my favourite colours, and I've been saving it both for a pattern I love instantly and for my skills to be to the point where I won't worry I'll just mess up the project!
Yay - been wracking my brains the last couple of days to remember why the Heirloom stuff seemed familiar in relation to you and I only just remembered... its such fine finicky stuff and makes such amazing things, I'm most impressed you're getting on with the stuff now :)
This is filth of the highest order. Kindly stop forcing me to look behind the LJ cut so that I know just how shocked to be!!! :-) (ouch I bit my tongue - shall have to take it out of the cheek!)
