Another Knitting Note
Dec. 23rd, 2005 11:32 pmAnother Knitting Note
In today's other knitting entry, I mentioned that even reserved londoners were leaning in on the Tube to ask me about the socks I'm currently knitting for
museinred. I forgot to say that on my bus to work, a lady who got off at the same stop as I did stopped and asked me if I ever sell my knitting.
Of course, I gave the answer I always do: no; it simply wouldn't be cost-effective given materials plus time. But it was flattering to be asked that question; that hasn't happened in a long time.
I keep wondering whether it's the holiday season that is making ordinarily commute-focused Londoners actually speak to a stranger or if it really is the power of these socks.
