Because I've been knitting all along: I just haven't been posting anything.
So here are some pictures of current socks in progress and recently finished.

Bubble Wrap Socks!
This is a design I improvised from seeing an existing pattern and realising the slip stitch pattern is the very common honeycomb. The original pattern didn't have the slip stitch extending onto the foot, and I just couldn't have that! |

Bubble Wrap Socks, 2
Here's a photo of the top of the socks. The near-matchingness of them is total dumb luck, I promise! |

JEANS Socks in orange
I got this wool at Lidl! Can you believe that? It was £4 for 200g, and so I had to see how it knitted up. So far, it's great, and the colours are good, too. This is a terrific orange, nice and autumny. |

Another view of the Bubble Wraps
This time, you can see the reinforced heel and the admittedly unorthodox gusset I put in so I wouldn't have to think too much about the instep pattern. These socks fit really well, even though they were knit bog-standard top down from the cuffs. I did make the toes quite a bit wider than most sock designers will do. |
