I have a spinning wheel I borrowed from tattercoats, and I'm completely afraid of it, so I think I understand your feelings a bit.

Does everybody else in ceramics class know what you're making? And, enquiring minds want to know -- did you use a live model? :D

I'll teach you how to use it if you like :-) I've used that wheel (heck, I think I bought her that wheel!) and it's nice... Maybe we should schedule a fibre arts day somewhere, sometime?

sounds like fun... I did a spinning course once, but I expect I've forgotten most of it.
I'll volunteer my place as a mid-way venue if I can be taught by experts from both directions. We have the space.

I finally got the wheel, but I haven't cracked it out of hte box yet. Been going to work and doing stuff for ceramics class; school before fun, alas.

I don't know if other people in the class know; probably not, since I tend to work either at home or in the afternoon after class. There are multiple people in the class that annoy me, and I prefer working when there aren't so many people around anyway.
