[Knitting] Beginning the twisted flower socks

This pattern would have scared me silly even four years ago. Here's a link to a the finished sock, and beneath the cut you'll find a photo of my effort, being belatedly knitted for the lovely and talentedresourceress. I'm 25 rounds in now.

I'm not sure they're meant to be hard wearing, is the only little trepidation I have about them. But resourceress knows how to take care of them, so I live in hope they'll survive for a good long while.

I'm so glad you're liking the sock. I did a couple more rounds at lunchtime; the pattern is really beginning to show.

I don't have a sock blocker or one of those fake legs; will you be offended if I photograph the socks on my own feet before I send them off to you? I'll wash them after.

Oh, sure, model away! No worries. And let me know if you need any additional measurements. My feet aren't particularly long or strangely shaped, but one never knows. FYI, I wear US size 9-9 1/2 women's shoes mostly.
