Just a note--

I'm teaching a beginning to knit seminar at iKnit London on Saturday morning, starting at 10:00.

Not only has the store moved, but Saturday is their first day in the new shop, which is very close to Waterloo Station at 106 Lower Marsh, SE1.

There are still two places left in the class, so if you're in or near London and you've always wanted to learn to knit, you can register for the class online.

I would say it's worth it if only for the handouts-- but I can't get them to print at the moment!

That link to the shop site should be .co.uk, not .org.uk

Wrong day!

Lower Marsh is short walking distance from my office, and where I often have lunch, but I don't work (most!) Saturdays ... good luck!

Er ..."drop a stitch"!

I had no idea you were interested in knitting!

If I weren't going to be at the other end of the country I'd be very tempted.

I've never had a formal class in knitting.

I'm on the west coast of the US, so can't possibly take your knitting class, but I'm very interested in the hand-outs, as I'm trying to re-teach myself to knit. Would you be willing to part with an electronic copy of the handout packet? How much would you like to be compensated for same? I'm fairly certain I can manage a paypal payment, as I suspect that would be the fastest way to get a payment to you.

I'd be interested in your handouts, too... Would you consider maybe posting them later, if you're willing and get a chance? I love the idea of the cartoon layout format. You may have started something big!

Aha!!! Lower Marsh, yay! One bus from Archway to Waterloo... Oh dear. This means Bad News for my bank account, doesn't it?

I won't come along and embarrass you, I suspect. But I'll probably be down there during the next week to look the new shop over.

I'm hoping they'll let me pop in early to get settled in.

Oh, tempting, tempting. But I can't commit to it right now, shoot. But Waterloo is easier for me in the future!

Fab. I'll look forward to seeing you there sometime. iKnit is *soooooo* much nicer than Loop!

How about... 'break a thread'? as a g**d l**k wish, of course. Although I'm not superstitious...
anyway, I think this is a fab idea, and I still blame you that I got the knitting bug. Very best wishes for the class.

Thanks. I really loved teaching knitting when I lived in the US, and I hope it will be just as rewarding here.
