There are verse forms I find worse than doggerel for sticking in my mind. Hiawatha, for instance, and haiku. Iambic pentameter. And reading "Under Milk Wood" is particularly dangerous, I sound like a Dylan Thomas character for days afterwards.

IMO, Doggerel Day ought to become at least a monthly occurrence...I got a kick out of it, both reading and writing it.
