her solo career took off in 2005 when she released her first solo album and received the Scots Trad Music Gaelic Singer of the Year Award. She was also given the Horizon prize at this year's BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Expect a star-spangled band with some of the UK's finest folk musicians.
