[livejournal.com profile] folkmew did this. And since I do everything she does, I had to do it too.

You are one of the most courageous women I know, and being privileged to know you makes me feel more courageous myself.

My husband and I are planning on having a baby. I've been planning this so long that I've got a little cache of unique baby things that I've gotten as I've found them. It only contains things that I knew I wouldn't be able to find again, like possibly the world's most adorable NASA flight suit sized for an infant.

2 + 2 = 5, for sufficiently large values of 2.

And as a bonus, I'm not Ann O'Nymous, she's a different cat...

I read that as "lightly grate oil", grating oil is not easy...

I'm making this tonight, it sounds great.

I'm not going to do what my degree's qualified me to do... and I haven't told any of them, yet.

I want to make love. I've had sex, but not with anyone I love (and at 800 quid a night I don't do it very often). But the probability of anyone I love being interested in me is on the down side of zero...

Did you know that if you try to post two anonymous replies in a row, even to different journals, you get asked tp prove that you're a human (difficult for some of us)? But if you make a logged-in post or comment in between it's fine. Just a little comment on LJ...

And did you know that the LJ support people claim to be human? Poor deluded things, it's obvious that they are better than that...

Have I ever admitted to being human? I remember one time when someone in a group said "Well, we're only human" and I said "Ah, I wondered which planet I was on" *g*...

Don't aspire to be like someone else; why lower yourself when you're great the way you are?

People I love around me are getting old and dying. The way they get old means I'm losing them before they're gone. This is totally breaking my heart. There's nothing good about getting old.

I have kept secrets from everyone who's ever cared about me--sometimes by lying, sometimes by misdirection, but mostly with silence. And deep down, I believe that I have to do so--that if everyone knew the whole truth about me, I would end up completely alone. The secrets make it possible for me to have any relationships at all. But they also sabotage any feeling of security or well-being that comes from being loved, because I can always tell myself 'If you really knew me, you wouldn't want to know me.'

I wonder if I would have been any more successful on any of the other paths I might have taken, or whether the nettle to be grasped is that I'm actually not as talented or as smart as I would like to think I am.

It was I who allowed the Alliance to know the location of the shield generator. It is quite safe from your pitiful little band. An entire legion of my best troops awaits them!
