The Knitting News: Completed Camelot Sock Photos!

Well, the truth is, I finished these socks a month ago, but I've had such trouble taking photos of them that I just said, 'eh' and didn't do it and didn't do it, and now here we are a month later and I'm finally posting these photographs. I hope you enjoy them. I'm really proud of these comfortable, warm, stranded socks; they're just about the coolest thing I've ever knitted.

Over the past few weeks, I've been making progress on [livejournal.com profile] museinred's socks, a pair of plain self-patterning socks for me in Town & Country's Harlequin colourway, and a cabled hat to match the ten-year aran. I'm also planning to finish a certain blue and silver wrap I started for a certain [livejournal.com profile] little_cinnamon, oh, ages ago now.

But for now, photographs of the socks!

Photos, as always, cut-tagged for your protection.

Here, you can see the different heel patterns. The left sock was the first one knitted; the right sock has a much more clearly defined heel flap pattern, and the sole pattern is also more consistent.

Here are the finished socks.

Note the better defined heel flap colours and the much clearer sole pattern.
