Double Trouble Socks
Aug. 26th, 2004 10:38 pmThe Double Trouble Socks pattern is apparently back up on the web. Unfortunately, it's on a Tripod page, so there are pop-ups.
These are toe-up socks with a wrapped short-row toe and identical short-row heel that are really easy to make. The author explains the two circulars method of knitting, and the explanation is OK, but it's the pattern itself here that is kind of cool. This turned toe and wrapped short-row heel has become my favorite way of constructing socks. You also don't have to knit two at once, of course. But it sure looks cool.
