Today's trip to Thread Bear Fiber Arts!

filceolaire and I were still in Singapore, I ordered some beautiful wool from Thread Bear Fiber Arts. There are photographs on the linked posts; it was Lorna's Laces in a Mardi Gras colourway dyed especially for that shop. I learned about Thread Bear from the Black Dog Blog, which has been linked here from my journal for awhile.
You know, you order from places (I've only ordered the one thing from them but I love reading about the shop), but it never really registers where such places are-- or at least it doesn't with me. Then, when I was in Vermont, I did a google search on knitting shops in the Lansing, MI area, since I knew we were going to spend some time with MM and GZ along with J's aunt and uncle, before we left the US and flew home to London. Lo! and behold-- Thread Bear Fiber Arts is located in Lansing. So of course I had to go.
