Knitting on the short time
May. 28th, 2004 11:39 amThey are coming in droves. Yesterday, I had three students at once, all of whom wanted to get in just one more lesson with me before I leave the country.
Tuesday night, students arrived at 6pm and stayed until after 9:30. They all wanted to get in just one more lesson with me before I leave the country.
Today, I have an afternoon lesson scheduled.
Next Tuesday night, several people plan to be there.
When one heard I was going to be in the shop this Saturday, she said, "Wow! Can I go ahead and schedule time with you?" I asked her to call the shop on Saturday morning and see how it looked.
I went straight from teaching (two of my three students stayed in the shop until 6:15 last night) knitting to teaching with
earthmystic last night, and boy, was I exhausted at the end of the day!
I guess they like me.
For reference, even if you like your job, it's still work, and it can still leave you very tired.
