Not just a modification; a "real" design this time. These were cast on last night, and they are moving pretty quickly at this point.
Razor Shell Lace Socks I have a ton of self-patterning sock wool, but I'm bored with knitting plain socks. So I've been scouting around for a lace pattern that will work well in a jaquard pattern sock wool, be easy to memorise, and work well in toe-up socks. Mission Accomplished, I think. I'm nearly ready to start the gusset increases, since I prefer faux heel flaps when making a toe-up sock. I think I will probably make this pattern available on Ravelry for free when I'm done, as it's my first lace sock design and it has some fun elements. |
