Nice, really nice!

My fingers (thumbs in masquerade!) are most envious!

It's pretty, tho I would have wanted brighter colors. But then, of course, it's not for me! (-:

I really like the design, tho it doesn't quite match up the way the design suggestion did.

Something seems odd about the way the rows of spirals are joining, but it may just be the picture.

Remember, I'd finished the first repeat of the spiral pattern before charting the offset? What changes most about the pattern is the way the spirals end. So no; you're not hallucinating. The spirals really don't join smoothly on that first repeat. Do you think I should rip it out and start again?

ah, that explains it, I'd forgotten that. It does look a little odd, but ripping out all that work... well, I know you're a much faster knitter than I am, so maybe it doesn't seem as drastic to you. That decision has to be a play-off between how much you dislike ripping and re-doing and how much (if at all) either you or J would prefer the alternative version. I can't judge either of these things.

Oh, that's lovely! It makes me think of a design on a Cretan frieze above a window overlooking the sea.
