[Knitting] More Entrelac Sock Progress

You can see the first post on this topic here.

I'm into the second tier now, so it's starting to look like entrelac.

First Tier First Tier
It's hard to see because the needle is pushing the triangles down, but here is the first tier complete.
Second Tier Begun Second Tier Begun
So you could see how the triangles and diamonds spread out, I put the sock around my leg for a minute. I'm two and a half diamonds into the second tier here; when I have nine, I'll turn around and knit another purple one.

Lovely! I miss teaching entrelac sometimes!

Amazing the difference in color values between the two photos!

It's interesting to see how this is done; knitting never seemed as much fun to me as other things, so my knowledge of technique is _very_ basic.

I think you're infectious. Despite only ever having done one entrelac project before (it's a lap rug, with a patchwork background, yes I am a masochist), I feel an urge to make myself some entrelac socks and an entrelac hat. As if I hadn't got enough projects on the go...

I'm fascinated as to what it looks like on the back...
