I really think you need to go get a journalism degree. This is amazing. You have such a massive gift for writing. Any paper in the world would publish this article, as would any magazine. We can all identify with this.
As a secondary note, I don't remember anyone from high school due to my accident. As a result, every time one of them friends me on FB, I fake like I remember them. I have no idea where I put my yearbooks. I hope by reading some of that stuff it will bring back more.
