I'm really happy with this garment.

Celtic Dreams Finally Finished! All in all, it didn't take too long. I started this jumper on the 10th of May, worked on something like three pairs of socks at the same time, and I didn't knit at all from about the second week of July all the way through August. I completed the first sleeve on Wednesday, and finished everything, including sleeves and end-weaving about an hour ago at 10:30 tonight, Saturday 4 October. J was kind enough to take this photograph.

To tell you the truth, the cable patterns do not seem all that complicated once you have been knitting them for awhile. The only one I had to refer to the pattern for, in the end, was that central motif. And when you knit cables without a cable needle, as I do, it goes much faster than you might think.
