Yes! We all do more good by living well. Which is why I often am not reading and writing about what I'm living. I feel______________ (guilty is not quite the word: maybe "lazy" or "inattentive") when I don't read and comment. But I find it takes SOOO much time. Here it is, nearly 4 pm, and I've spend the past four hours reading and commenting on LJ's of friends from JUST TODAY. It's a second job. (Or would be, if I had a job.) Meanwhile, yeh, I'm avoiding doing stuff in my own life, but it needs doing. Four hours would've made a dent in my to do list.

Gah, sorry to be venting in your LJ sweetie! I just think you of all people will understand, as your life is so much more stuffed than mine is with day-to-day responsibilities AND with dreams and talents and creativity you do and want to do. I may need to cut LJ friend list down to just those people I really know in person and really care about. Which would be about 10. Not that I don't like the rest, just that they don't touch my "real" life, it's just more information overload coming in. I know more about them, but am not really any closer to them.
