At Dragon Con a few years ago I saw the Atlanta Radio Theater Company's sister group (whose name I can't recall!) put on a live show of "Welcome Back Potter." It was absoulutely hilarious. Good memories!
Thank you! I assume you are familiar. They are one of the reasons I go back to Dragon Con. I inroduced my 13 year-old son to them last year. He wasn't all excited when I decribed what they did, but after he saw the show he loved them. I should be better and look them up during the rest of the year! Ah, for some free time.
Oh yes, I've known MRAP for years upon years. In fact, while there is a great deal of overlap between the ARTC and MRAP, I'm not sure they're actually officially affiliated with one another. :)
They do good work, though. My all-tiem favourite was 'Bats', a Batman the series/Batman the movie crossover they did back in 1990.
I don't know how officially they are affiliated, but I know a lot of the faces are the same at their shows! What a great bunch of folks.
"Bats" sounds like it could have been really funny. Last year we "saw" the radio production of a "Rory Rammer: Space Something-or-other." The best I've seen was the production of "The Island of Dr. Moreau." That was really good. Both of those were the ARTC, not the MRAP. I think!
Amy's doll should be finished by Sunday (I'm taking her to the costumers open-house at Flis's on Saturday to work on while we chat) Her outfit is lovely but eye-watering, thanks to one of the fabrics Talis and Simon gave me the other Christmas.... and some orange lace.
Here are the two originals I have found to date ... plus another funny D&D mp3
