Celtic Dreams: Progress, Day 8

Halfway to the skirt There are three complete pattern iterations on the jumper now, and you can really see the garment structure building now. Of course, the slow part is just beginning: I need to have three more pattern iterations before I get to the skirt, or bottom decorative ribbing, of the garment. I continue to make entertaining mistakes, such as knitting the wrong row in a cable pattern and having to reknit it the next time I come around to it. Luckily I'm a confident enough knitter at this stage of the game that I can repair individual patterns a row or two down, so I haven't had to rip out any bit of this jumper (except that unfortunate cast-on on the front, but that's another story). I suspect it will take several days to get to the skirt. I will probably continue to take and post a daily progress photograph, but don't expect a lot more technical fun until I get down to and possibly beyond the skirt. :-)
